Wendy Dukes
MBA Prep Coach

Education: Wendy holds an MBA in Marketing from The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. Wendy also is a graduate of Purdue University where she earned a BS in Business Management. She was recruited to attend Purdue via The Cornell A. Bell Business Opportunity Program (BOP) which was established to increase diversity and give underrepresented students access to a world-class business education. It is because of BOP that Wendy has dedicated her career to assisting in the development of underrepresented minorities as future business leaders.
Experience: Wendy joined MLT in 2010. Prior to MLT, Wendy was an Associate Director in the Career Management Center at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Her focus was on coaching 1st and 2nd year students in Brand Management and Supply Chain careers. Before transitioning to higher education, Wendy held several brand management roles at companies such as Kraft Foods, Hanesbrands, and Burt's Bees.

Krista Giancarlo
MBA Prep Coach

Education: Krista earned her BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. She has also completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Non-Profit Management at Northern Kentucky University.

Experience: MLT MBA Prep coach since 2008. She worked at the Yale School of Management, first in the Dean's office and then for several years as an admissions officer. She was especially involved in recruiting women, non-traditional and early career students. She managed recruiting events for the department and served as the alumni liaison for admissions.

Nicola Idehen
MBA Prep Coach

Education: Nicola has a BA from Yale University where she majored in Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was an Admissions Ambassador for her section.
Experience: Nicola joined MLT as an MBA Prep Coach in 2010. She started her career at JP Morgan Private Bank in New York City where she was a Fixed Income Product Specialist for high net worth individuals. After business school she worked at Lehman Brothers/Neuberger Berman as a Hedge Fund Product Specialist. She started doing MBA Admissions Consulting part-time in 2006, and recently decided to make it her full-time career.

Wendy Weiss
MBA Prep Coach

Education:  Wendy has a BA in Sociology from Tulane University and an MBA in Marketing from The George Washington University.
Experience: Wendy joined MLT as an MBA Prep Coach in 2008. She discovered her love for higher education when she accepted a role as an undergraduate admissions officer. Since then, she has worked in the higher education world for over twelve years. Prior to MLT, Wendy was Assistant Director of Admissions for Georgetown's MBA program for 4 years. Her travels and experiences as an admissions officer have given her great pleasure, but her passion is to have a real impact on those with whom she works.

Kathy Welborn McLean
MBA Prep Coach

Education: As an International Coach Federation certified professional coach, Kathy holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
Experience: Kathy joined the MLT staff as a part-time MBA Prep Coach in  2010. Prior to pursing her MBA, Kathy worked in a variety of industries including management consulting, retail banking and engineering. Post MBA, she worked in the small business consulting arena as the Associate Director of the Wharton Small Business Development Center. In 2005, Kathy launched the Welborn McLean Group, an executive & personal coaching firm. She currently serves on several boards.
