WSJ profiles MLT: As an M.B.A. student at Harvard Business School in 1992, John Rice gazed around the classroom one day and was struck by the dearth of minorities. That observation proved to be an important turning point for the young African-American man. He not only was disturbed by the colorless picture he saw, but he also felt challenged to understand it – and perhaps even change it.
