History

As an ambitious MBA student at Harvard Business School, John Rice took notice of the absence of minorities around him and became impassioned about increasing minority representation in business. Rice founded Management Leadership for Tomorrow in an effort to close the gap in minority representation. From humble beginnings as an independent business school project, MLT has now become the leading organization for minority individuals seeking to maximize their career potential.

Now in our 5th year, MLT has made significant strides toward its goal of doubling the number of minority senior leaders in business, nonprofits, and government. With the addition of job postings, a regular newsletter and a new website, there’s no reason MLT won’t make an even greater impact in the coming years.
