Position Description
MLT is seeking a talented individual to lead the expansion of its talent pipeline efforts focused on non-profits, foundations, social entrepreneurship and government. The Partnerships Director (Social Sector) is a high-profile, externally-facing role focused on developing and executing MLT’s social sector strategy. Key responsibilities include growing and managing MLT’s base of strategic social sector partners, designing curriculum to prepare Fellows and Alumni for careers in the social sector in partnership with MLT’s partner organizations and program staff, driving career outcomes for Fellows / Alumni pursuing careers in the social sector and delivering return on investment for MLT’s social sector partners. Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Partnerships Director (Social Sector) will include:
Partnership Development / Fundraising:
•Identify and build MLT’s base of social sector strategic partners – leading foundations, non-profits and government entities - who recruit MLT Fellows and Alumni
•Develop expert knowledge of the unique talent recruiting and retention challenges in the sector
•Lead all aspects of the new partner engagement process (e.g. Develop mutually beneficial partnership proposals, lead presentations to key stakeholders and manage follow-up communications with potential partners)
•Develop and present a social sector strategy to MLT senior leadership

Partner Relationship Management:

Associate Director, College Programs
Position Description
The College Programs Associate Director role is an exciting opportunity to help lead the efforts of the Career Prep (CP) team which guides undergraduate Fellows through a preparatory roadmap that will help them maximize their experience, skills, and ability to secure a high-caliber summer internship and full-time job offer. The Associate Director will report to and work closely with the College Programs Director as a thought partner to enhance the CP experience and effectiveness, and streamline/improve business processes as College Programs expands. The Associate Director will have project management and potential coaching responsibilities. S/he will develop and implement curriculum, provide personalized guidance to Fellows on critical career management skills, and assist with program evaluation and analysis. This is a high profile role that has tremendous impact on the future of program Fellows, the business community, and the MLT organization.
The ideal candidate must have in-depth corporate experience, preferably in Financial Services or Management Consulting. S/he will possess a keen ability for detail and a strong ability to execute, a thorough understanding of the corporate recruiting landscape, and an outstanding ability to build and manage relationships with program participants, MLT staff, and corporate partners. The Associate Director must excel in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multitask effectively, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
Ideally, the College Programs Associate Director will be based in NYC and work from the MLT office; however, strong candidates from outside the NYC area will be seriously considered and, if hired, permitted to work remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
• Partner with the Director to develop and execute the overall College Programs/Career Prep strategic vision
• Draw on industry expertise, preferably in financial services or management consulting, to develop processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality ‘career readiness’ training to Career Prep Fellows
• Define, execute, and facilitate Career Prep events, seminars, and webinars, including development of seminar goals, structure, and content

Partnerships Research Associate
Position Description
As a key member of the Partnerships team, the Partnerships Research Associate will support the growth of MLT’s funding base, provide a high level of service to MLT’s strategic partners, and provide significant internal leverage to MLT’s VP of Partnerships. S/he will maintain, track and analyze partner-related data that is used to ensure MLT is driving significant return on investment for its partners, research the best practices of leading organizations’ recruitment and retention needs, and craft client-ready sales and renewal presentations for MLT strategic partners (corporations, non-profits and foundations).
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate persuasively; manage and analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions; and manage projects effectively and with minimal supervision. Associate, Events & Conferences
Position Description
MLT currently produces 14-17 in-person conferences and events annually to reinforce components of our four structured programs, and allow for deeper relationship building among program Fellows and our partners. Each event includes between 150 and 250 attendees and range in duration from short networking events to multi-day conferences. Reporting to the Director, Events, the Associate, Events will perform coordination and administrative assistance for all phases of these events through initiation, planning, implementation, in-event management and closure.
Under the guidance of the Director, Events, this role will work closely with internal groups and external vendors to coordinate and integrate activities to ensure that the result is more than the sum of the individual contributions. The expectation is that events will become more professional, streamlined and standardized, and that subsequent events will improve upon earlier ones.
Primary Responsibilities
The Associate, Events/Conferences will perform coordination and administrative assistance for all aspects of events and conferences to ensure delivery of event/conference content and learning objectives including:
• Event Planning
Assist in Event Planning Meeting scheduling and material preparation.
Tracking activity completion on project plans
Coordinating communication with partners, vendors and internal clients
Sourcing speakers as needed, and determining their event needs

Director, MBA Professional Development
Position Description
The Director of MBA Professional Development (PD) will develop the strategic vision and growth strategy for the PD program, which serves 200 high potential, underrepresented minority young professionals who have recently been admitted to business school, as well as up to 400 current MBA students of color. The Director will also plan and execute four PD events and seminars per year, along with significant support from the PD team, Events team, and Partnerships team. The Director will lead and develop a talented team of four career coaches and a program associate, all working together to refine program curriculum which will drive participants’ ongoing career development. The ideal candidate will have deep industry experience, having spent time within a business unit of a top organization and possibly within a recruiting function as well. S/he should have managed both projects and people, and should be equally comfortable thinking strategically and diving into details. S/he should possess an outstanding ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. S/he must excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, have the ability to multitask effectively, and possess an MBA degree. • Work with Partnerships team to develop Fellows’ engagement opportunities with MLT corporate partners, with a focus on understanding partner needs and providing the best talent to fit those needs.
• Directly supervise four PD coaches and one Program Associate.
• Develop processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality program services.
• Review and evaluate applications for admission to MBA PD Program.
